Atel will gain shares in ECKG Kladno and in Energeticke centrum Kladno from CEZ Group

CEZ Power Group and Atel Bohemia s. r. o. have come to an agreement about a sale of an 11 % share in ECK Generating s. r. o. and a 10.987 % share in ENERGETICKE CENTRUM KLADNO, s. r. o. owned by CEZ Group´s Stredoceska energeticka (STE).

The transaction has been signed by representatives of Stredoceska energeticka and Atel Bohemia today.

Consulting services for STE during the realization of the transaction were provided by Patria Finance.

ECK Generating, s.r.o.

The limited company was founded on November 11, 1995. The subject of enterprise of the company is purchase of goods in order to sell them and sale, generation and distribution of electricity and generation and distribution of heat. In 1997 the activities of the company were linked with ENERGETICKE CENTRUM KLADNO, s. r. o. uder long-term contracts from 1996.  Total installed capacity of the company is 371.8 MWe. In sum it has five blocks: 4 condensing-extraction turbo-generator with the installed capacity of 135.3 MWe, 5 condensing-extraction turbo-generator with the installed capacity of 135.3 MWe, 6 combustion circle with the installed capacity of 66.9 MWe, 9 condensing-extraction turbo-generator with the installed capacity of 28 MWe, and 12 back-pressure turbine with the installed capacity of 6.3 MWe. Total net yearly production  is ca 1,517 GWh (of which 1,493 are produced on PE and 24 GWh on PSE). The output of the source is extracted to the 110kV system of Stredoceska energeticka a.s.
