The Bátor Tábor Foundation has been organising therapeutic recreation camps since 2001 for cancer-afflicted and chronically ill children and their families, hosting 1000 campers annually. The goal of the recreational therapy programs is to let children experience real sense of achievement by making them face different challenges. To ensure the safe environment a large number of volunteers are helping the children providing them with a lot of success and reinforcement. Needless to say the challenges the children have to face are always in line with their capabilities. The goal of the programs is to enstrengthen the children’s self-confidence by continuously helping them leave their own comfort zone, thereby facilitating their recovery.

Since the team of CEZ Hungary Ltd. is represented with a used-to-be volunteer of the Foundation, through personal experience we have a deep understanding of the therapeutic recreation program and of all the work done by the team of Bátor Tábor. For this reason we are particularly delighted that with the help of our Partners we were able to support a good cause like this.
