CEZ Power Company has today signed an agreement about a sale of a 34 % share in CEPS into the hands of the state

CEZ Power Company has today concluded an agreement with the Czech Ministry of Finance about a sale of a 34 % share in CEPS (transmission system operator).

The agreement concluded is in accordance with the Czech government resolution dated July 28, 2004. The price was set on an expertise basis and will be settled by five instalments, last in 2009, whereas almost a half will be settled by 2006.

Under the UOHS resolution dated March  18, 2003, CEZ was obliged to sell its share in CEPS.
