New Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CEZ Power Company

On today's meeting, CEZ, a. s. Supervisory Board has acknowledged the resignation of the present Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Zdenek HrubĂ˝.

At the same time the Supervisory Board has elected Mr. Martin Kocourek, present member of the Supervisory Board, a new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CEZ. Mr HrubĂ˝ resigned from his post in connection with his new position of Government Secretary for Preparation the Czech Republic's Presidency of the EU in 2009.

Czech Government has appointed Mr. Zdenek HrubĂ˝ with effect from January 1, 2007.
